About lotting rule

Basic idea
In our LS, one can only choose "one" job to lot on for the AF2 (relic armor).
This is done so that by choosing only one job, instead of multiple jobs, people can obtain AFs quicker, and thus open up more AFs to be "free" in each area. As a result, people should be able to get multiple AFs quicker.

As for obtaining AFs, one must use "points" which each member obtains by participating in dynamis. Thus, people who participate more will get more "chance to lot" and therefore "more items".
Also, if points are used, that much point is deducted from their total points, thus giving others better chance to obtain AFs.

As for single unit old currency and materials, they are auto-distributed by not lotting unless otherwise specified.
This method has advantage such as allowing people to keep playing without interruption, distributing quicker than when everyone lots for them, and being fair to people who play jobs that are more likely to die or have to be bait for the key NM pulls.

About point system
Our LS uses "point system" for lotting.
Details will be described below.
More detailed description on managing points will be described in the "Detailed lotting rule" section as well.

Obtaining points
In order to obtain points in our LS, there are following methods.

  1. Take part in Dynamis area clearing.
  2. Officially join our LS
When you are officially admitted to the LS for the first time, you will be awarded 4 pts as bonus points.
Using points
Will be explained in the "Detailed lotting rule section"

Calculation of points
Hypothetical money value was assigned to AF2. Points are calculated from that, along with the price of hourglass.
If there are 64 people entering the area, then each person will receive 1.25 points. If there are less people going in, then each member will get more points.

When the points are added
Points are added when exiting the Dynamis area. Therefore, during that run, points from when you last exited Dynamis area is applied.
This means that you can't count the points you would get from that day's run for your points total.
If you don't have enough points before entering Dynamis area, you can't lot for the AF2 or the 100 currencies.

Borrowing points
If you don't have enough points to lot, you can't lot for the AF2 or 100 currencies.
Even if there are no one else who wants the AF, you can't borrow points to lot.
Furthermore, members aren't allowed to exchange/sell points between members.
Please manage points wisely.

Detailed lotting rules
  1. AF2 (Relic Armor)
When officially joining the LS, you may decide on 1 job for which to lot AF on. You may spend points in order to obtain AF2s for that job.

    1. The job you can choose to lot for the AF2 is "a job which you can use to go into Dynamis area" only.
And also, you must have the will to level that job to the level which can equip the respective pieces.
    2. You can't change the job you wish to lot for when entering different Dynamis area.
    3. If you lot for, and win the AF2, you will spend 10 pts per piece.
(you will not lose points just by lotting, but only when you lot and win it)

  2. Relic weapon
    1. You may choose one relic weapon to lot on.
it doesn't have to be the same job you're lotiing AF2s on, and it doesn't matter what level the job is.
    2. Even if you lot and win it, you will not spend any points in doing so.
(you are not required to lot for a relic weapon)

  3. 100 currencies
    1. In the area, you may choose to lot on 100 curencies, and you may spend 10 pts in order to obtain it.
    2. You can only obtain one 100 currency, and you will be asked to pass on any subsequent 100 currency drops.
If you accidentally obtain it by accidental lotting, leader will collect it and distribute it to the person who had the highest lot.
    3. Exception to B: if all member who wishes to lot on 100 currencies have obtained one, and 100 currency drops, then it will be treated just like "free" AFs and you may spend points to lot for it.
If you obtain the currency, 10 pts will be deducted from your total.

  4. Currencies larger than 1000 unit
It is supposedly not implemented, but if it does drop, leader, or someone specified by the leader, will lot and collect it. It will be exchanged into smaller currencies, and will be equally distributed among the members, minus the fee the NPC requires.

How the lotting would go
1.AF2(Relic armor)
(1) Those who have the right to lot will choose AF2(common among all Dynamis area), 100 currency, or save points for later use. Then they will put their choice in their search comment.
If the desired item should drop, then the following sequence, in order, will happen.

(2) Those who has that job as primary choice, who meet the conditions A or B will lot for it.
Those who obtain it will have their points deducted at that moment.

A: Those who have enough points to lot
B: Those who have lotting rights because of the later noted exception

(3) If there are no one who meets the requirement listed in (2)
As a free lot AF, Those who meet the condition A or B under (2) will lot for it.
Same amount of points, 10pts, will be deducted when obtaining the item.

(4) If neither (2) or (3) are met
We will wait for auto distribution by not lotting at all.
If one obtains item in this method, they will not have any points deducted from their total.

2. Exception listed under section 1.(2)
(1)Original members of Proud Blue (who was a member before the point system was implemented) who didn't get any AF2s previously may lot on 1 AF2 without spending any points.
However, this only applies to AF2s, and not 100 currencies.

(2)Those who can use the privilege in (1) are limited to those who have 15 pts or more.
(Unless the person dropped to below 15 pts after lotting and winning 100 cureency during that run)

This is equivalent to "First time Privilege" in old rule.
Those who have not used it yet, and have over 15 pts, may carry it over to the ProminenceBlue.

3. Exception to the section 1. (2) exception rule
If the member who has the privilege has over 50 pts, that member can get priority in AF lotting once.

However, this will not apply to the northlands area (beaucedine and Xarcabard).
Also, this applies to the first AF drop in the area only (which one must have chosen to lot on before entering), and one may not choose which parts he/she would like priority on.

If this applies, the first AF that the person with privilege wanted (not any AF, but the job that the person chose)will be reserved for him/her.

This privilege will not apply to AFs that became "free".

This is privilege that are given to those who attended ProudBlue Dynamis event often, yet haven't gotten a single AF yet.
Even if one gained 2pts per run, 50pts=25 runs=over half a year.
However, Northlands have fewer AF drops than the 4 nations, thus it can't be used there.

How the lotting would go(with visuals)

Using these 4 Tarutarus, the lotting system will be explained.
A:Has 9.00pts, didn't win AF before point system was established in ProudBlue.
Returned recently after long break, points are from ProudBlue.
B:Has 10.00pts, Joined from the ProminenceBlue, hasn't obtained AF yet.
C:Has 8.00pts, didn't win AF before point system was established in ProudBlue.
Obtained 100 currency and is therefore at 8.00pts.
D:Has 52.00 pts, didn't win AF before point system was established in ProudBlue, and now has 52.00pts.

How the lotting would go in 4 nations
Those who have the right to lot will choose AF2 (one job throughout all dynamis), 100 currency, or save points, and will put it in the search comment.
This is what happens if AF drops in 4 nations.

Members who meet the section 1, (2) rule A
(those who have the right to lot)
Members who meet the section 1, (2) rule B
(those who have the right to lot)
Since A does not meet the condition in section 1, (2) rule B, A doesn't have exception right in lotting and thus are unable to lot.
(Was a member of old ProudBlue, but didn't have over 15 pts before switching to ProminenceBlue)
C doesn't have 15 pts when C switched to Prominence Blue, but 10 pts were deducted for winning a 100 currency in Proud Blue.
Thus C had attended enough times to have 15.00pts before switching to Prominence Blue, and thus has the exception right in lotting.
Therefore, these three are the only ones with right to lot for AFs.
However, under the rule listed under section 3, D has priority in lotting rights.
Thus, only D has the right to lot, and will obtain AF.

*Even if D has more than 60 pts, priority in lotting only applies once.

However, if D didn't choose to lot for AF that day (100 currency or save pts), then D won't have the right to lot, and will be a showdown between B and C.
Lotting rule in northlands
Those who have the right to lot will choose AF2 (one job throughout all dynamis), 100 currency, or save points, and will put it in the search comment. This is what happens if AF drops in northlands.
C doesn't have 15 pts when C switched to ProminenceBlue, but 10 pts were deducted for winning a 100 currency in Proud Blue.
Thus C had attended enough times to have 15.00pts before switching to Prominence Blue, and thus has the exception right in lotting.
Therefore, these three are the only ones with right to lot for AFs.
Priority rule doesn't apply in northlands, so it'll be showdown between these 3.
Frequently thought question "doesn't B get exception lotting right?"
Even if B hasn't gotten a single AF yet, the exception lotting right will not apply to B.
This exception rule was designed to help old ProudBlue members when the LS changed to point rule for lotting.

Changing job to lot for After joining
  1. Changing job to lot for After joining, if one hasn't obtained any AF2 yet, they can change the job to lot for once.
In order for that job to be allowed as a new job to lot for,
    1. The job must be a job in which one has enough levels to go to dynamis with.
    2. If the job you change the desired AF to is needed, one can come as that job.
    3. LS side acknowledges that enough members of that job has some AFs at least.
    4. One has the right to lot for the AF2 (if you have just joined and don't have the righ to lot yet, you may not change the job to lot for)
All four of these conditions must be met.

  2. After changing to the new job, even if you still haven't obtained any AF, you can't change back, or change again.

  3. Ones who had the AFs to lot for specified before joining may not be allowed to change job to lot for at times.
Penalty regarding lotting
  1. If lotting was done on purpose (will not pass even after being notified), then the person will be sent back with warp II, and will be permanently banned from all LS activities.
If one refuses to exit the area, then that day's run will be cancelled and after lotting all the items, all members will exit the area.

  2. If it was accidental lotting, then the meeting will be held between alliance leader and penalty will be decided.

** more than usual points will be deducted, but this doesn't mean that one may lot for other AFs using this amount of points. **

Several points of importance as transition from ProudBlue to ProminenceBlue is made
ProudBlue has changed the LS to PromineneBlue with retirement of former leader, Larme.
Following are several details worth noting.

  1. Transition of members
Members of old LS ProudBlue will be admitted to new LS without question, except for certain special cases.

  2. Transition of pearl
LSMES will be left on old ProudBlue shell, and activities will be done on new LS after distribution is complete.
As for what to do with old pearl after transition is made, is left up to each members.

  3. Transition of points
The points each member held at the time of transition will be transferred over to the new LS.

  4. Transition of lotting exception rights
Those who haven't used it who has 15 pts or more (excluding deduction from 100 currencies) will have their lotting exception right transferred as well.

  5. Transition of alliance placement
The alliance makeup used in old ProudBlue shell will be transferred as it is to the new LS.

  6. Transition of the LS fund
Excess amount collected during each run are stored as LS fund. This will be transferred to the new LS as well.
Several points of importance for the new members
Unlike old LS ProudBlue, which was formed when Dynamis was first implemented(and thus no one had any AF2s), some of the new members may have AF2s already.
Also, instead of new members chosing the AFs to lot on, but those who wishes to obtain certain AFs that the LS amanagement has decided on, will join.

  1. Addition of points
Addition of points will be started after the first run.
Amount of points received will be same as that of official members.
However, new members will not be allowed to use the points yet.

  2. lotting for trial members
For the first few runs, new members will be treated as a trial member. All lotting rules that apply to guests apply(Please refer to the "guest entrance" section under about LS).
However, you will be allowed to participate in the last 3 mminutes lotting.

  3. Point addition from official admittance
After the trial period, if it is determined that the member's behavior poses no problem to the LS (you won't be penalized for not being able to move as smooth as old members) in the LS meeting, that member will be officially admitted to the LS from next entrance to dynamis zone, after making sure the current members have no issues with it.
Upon exiting dynamis that day, newly admitted member will receive 4 bonus points to be aded to the current toal.

  4. Starting AF2(relic armor) and 100 currency lotting
Even if a member has over 10 pts, they will not be allowed to lot until they finish going through 4 nations.
There will be a 4 nations point that will be calculated seperately from the lotting points. When that point total reaches 4, they will be allowed to start lotting for items(points are added when we exit the dynamis area).

*This point is seperate from the points used to lot for items, and are only kept track of until the member gains the right to lot.(this will not be added to the lotting points)

Following is the rule for addition of four nations points.

(1)Participating in 4 nations dynamis area clearing (Jeuno, Sand'Oria, Bastok, Windurst).
Each nation will count as 1 pt.

(2)Being absent due to real life event, or being absent after giving advanced notice.
Participating in other 4 nations zone will count as 1 pt
Participating in Beaucedine and Xarcabard zone clearing will count as 0.5 pts

*Those who are transferring from other LSs may be allowed to lot sooner than completely new members(because fo northlands access), but by participating, you are helping LS more, and for this reason this rule is setup.

Using E, F, G and H, who joined from 5/8 as example, process will be explained.
Date, area, and amount of points in this example are all hypothetical and will be different from actual dynamis event in future.
All points are calculated when exiting the dynamis area.
